Reflexión Consciente: Volver al silencio del corazón // Return to the silence of the heart

Return to the silence of the heart

On the surface, the mind is restless, agitated and deceitful, but in its depth and emptiness, there is only peace, love and truth. Silence is the answer to who we are. It reveals the truths of the heart and the treasures of our consciousness. Creativity and great self-understandings arise from its infinite flow of life. Silence should not be confused with the absence of external noise. It is about calming the inner dialogue and connecting with the innate wisdom. When we calm down to listen and observe the mind, at first it is normal that everything is alteration and noise (conversations, images, ideas...), as this is the habit that we have maintained so far. But we can start to change it at any time, if we intend to go deeper into it. Through meditation or by remaining in contact with our breathing, it will be easier and more attainable. The more you contemplate without judgment and with acceptance that everything that happens, the more you will integrate the state of silence. Perseverance and patience are essential. Finally, when the noise reduces, it becomes a sound that no longer distracts us. We no longer identify with it. The moment we are conscious of our inner and silent observer, we experience the union with our own being.

Reflexión Consciente: El Poder del Perdón// The power of Forgiveness

- Jose A. Manchado

The Power of Forgiveness

Forgiveness is an act of love that liberates us from the past and from all feelings of suffering. It is the path of healing. Through this internal decision, we recover mental peace and the natural state of innocence. We transform the feelings that deteriorate and poison us into healthy feelings that repair our hearts and heal the wounds. In the absence of forgiveness, we talk about feelings such as resentment, anger, guilt or shame. If a situation or person causes us any of these conflicts, we must understand that they are actually happening in our minds. Therefore, they will produce harmful effects in our body. To begin with the process of liberation and change, it is necessary to acknowledge those things that have not been forgiven and go a step further by practicing comprehension. It is not about approving the situation or the other person's behavior, but about being willing to let go of the way we experience it so that it stops affecting us. On the other hand, it does not come from relating directly with the other, but through the heart. To forgive others and yourself is the best gift you will ever make to yourself. By correcting your perception you heal your reality.

Reflexión consciente: El cambio como parte de la vida\\ Change as a part of life

Change as a part of life

Life is a process of change in constant motion. Imagine a river where water flows. It never stops and nothing will ever be the same. Hence, the concept of "stability" is only an idea of the mind. Change is part of life and the static would be death. Whether we perceive it or not, changes are a permanent part of our present. However, it is often events that remind us of this reality and invite us to become aware of the impermanence. A vision that will help us to understand and deal better with them is that every change entails a teaching, an opportunity that opens us to a new and different perspective of things. Every event or difficulty appears to awaken, heal and transform us, leading us to develop our fullest potential. A better version of ourselves. Throughout life we participate in our changes through our decisions, but when this is not the case, and it's life that brings the changes (health, loss of a loved one, relationships, economic difficulties...), assuming these changes can be painful, uncomfortable, difficult to understand... and we experience a long or short period of crisis. As Buddha said, "Pain is unavoidable, suffering is optional". Resistance to not accepting these processes produces suffering. But even if a change involves pain, we will always be choosing the attitude with which to deal with it. We can make the healthiest, most conscious decision and contribute to our well-being. Depending on the situation and the change we are experiencing, some ideas about these healthy attitudes can be: resilience, optimism, creativity... attitude is going to be decisive in our life. On the other hand, taking the experiences of change as a learning experience will help us to stop feeling like a victim of our circumstances, to take back responsibility, to develop the best of ourselves, and over time, to feel grateful, for what that change made flourish in us and in our lives.

Reflexión consciente:Las trampas mentales y los beneficios de la meditación //Mind traps and the benefits of meditation

-Poner excusas (restarle valor).
 -Impaciencia. -Aburrimiento.
 -Ponerle ideas o creencias.
-Emitir juicios sobre la experiencia o juzgarte.
Si te dispones a meditar, te dispones a mejorar.

Mind traps and the benefits of meditation

Meditation benefits our mental, physical and emotional health. With this training of attention and awareness, the mind returns to a natural, calm and clear state. As this happens, perception changes. A deeper vision of reality is produced, transforming our internal perception and, consequently, also our external experience.
Among many other aspects, meditation improves: Our personal well-being (for example, increases serenity and reduces stress and anxiety). Brain activity, neural connections and multiple effects on the body. Relationships with others (becoming more assertive and empathetic). We become less reactive, and more contemplative and wise. It influences our performance. It gives us lucidity and creativity for the resolution of daily problems (helping us to connect with the necessary resources or more conscious solutions). It develops our potential. However, you should have in mind some mental traps, as they could lead you to not continue with the meditation or show up during the practice. These traps of the mind are:
 • Distraction.
• Excuses (depreciation).
• Impatience. • Boredom.
• Putting ideas or beliefs into it.
• Make judgments about the experience or judge yourself.
If you're going to meditate, you're going to improve yourself. You only need 1 minute a day to start cultivating this healthy habit, which will be really powerful in your life.

La meditación y sus efectos transformadores, en el día a día// Meditation and its transforming effects in our daily life.

Meditation and its transforming effects in our daily life..

Meditation is a deep and intimate contact with our consciousness. A mental training that takes us back to our natural state, recovering calmness, clarity and inner silence. Meditation is the means through which we discover the essence of our being, we begin to recognize the transcendent beauty of the world around us, and a great ally for self-knowledge or self-awareness. This practice is simple and attainable for anyone. It consists of putting our energy into observing the mind, without judging or intervening in what is happening. Thoughts, emotions, sensations, images... that appear and fade away. "Letting go..." As we practice this, we develop our state of attention, awaken more curiosity and openness to the present moment, and reawaken our sense of oneness with the whole. Before you start, it is important that you are willing to relax in order to enjoy it, so that it won't feel like an obligation or an effort. And if during the practice you suddenly realize that you've been distracted by a thought, be glad, that' s great news! Realizing indicates that you have activated this state of consciousness in your mind. The simple fact of "focusing" on what is happening contributes to great changes in the way we perceive and experience life, a condition that we can recover at any time, but above all from daily conscious practice or training.

Las corrientes de nuestro mundo emocional// The flow of our emotional world

The flow of our emotional world

Emotions cannot flow freely through you, if you burden them with your personal history. The only thing an emotion needs from you is presence. To be recognized to allow it and to attend to it, without trying to change or interpret it. Just as the body is a map of the mind, emotion is a profound messenger of our inner world. As long as resistance is created towards any of those emotions or if you intend to avoid them, avoid that feeling, they will not follow their natural course. Therefore, and in order to make healing possible and to allow them to fulfil their role of transforming us, we need to make room for them, let them be. Allow them to flow through us, without holding them back. It is important to be ready to welcome any emotion that occurs, at any time. Embrace them with an open heart, support them, and thank them for the information they offer us, understanding that their only purpose is to help us interact with the world, through the most beneficial and wise decisions for ourselves.

The subconscious shadow from what I am

The subconscious shadow from what I am

Often many of us use the word shadow. But what exactly are we referring to? What is "shadow" really? The shadow is an aspect of yourself that you reject, consciously or unconsciously. Therefore, it becomes an unaccepted response, a deep fear or a repressed desire. The shadow is not the opposite of the light, in fact it is part of it. So while you reject or avoid it, whether through others or yourself, you exclude and deny a part of yourself. Everything is part of the same consciousness and therefore everything you include is part of a complete expression of life. The shadow only needs our recognition and compassion. And thanks to the fact that others show it to us, we have the opportunity to give it its place, to "be seen"... You can tell yourself: I wouldn't see what's in the other, if it wasn't in me. In which way am I relating to "this"? Do I look at it in peace or in conflict? By identifying it, it becomes possible to accept it and integrate it into our consciousness. Every time we allow ourselves this understanding, we "give light" to ourselves because a kind of rebirth arises. A permanent change occurs inside of us who heal and a totally different perception of how we saw the world.
